Privacy Policy

How Things LLC handles information collected through this website.

Effective 5 August 2026

Scope

This policy describes how Things LLC ("we", "us") handles information collected through this website, including enquiries submitted from our contact page.

Information we access while performing work for a client is governed by the agreement in place with that client, not by this policy. Products we operate publish their own notices covering the data those products handle.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you contact us through the site or by email, we collect what you submit — typically your name, business email address, company, the type of project you are considering, an indicative budget range, and the substance of your enquiry.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages requested, and timestamps. We use this for security, diagnostics, and understanding aggregate traffic.

How we use information

We use enquiry information to respond to you, to evaluate and scope potential work, and to maintain ordinary business records. We use technical data to keep the site available, secure, and working correctly.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

Sharing

We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf — website hosting and email delivery — under terms limiting their use of it to providing that service.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights, our personnel, or the public. If the business is transferred, information may transfer with it subject to this policy.

Retention

We keep enquiry information for as long as it remains commercially relevant and for any period our legal, tax, and accounting obligations require, then remove it. You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner.

Security

We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and monitoring appropriate to a site of this kind, and we limit internal access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to certain processing. Exercising these rights will not result in different treatment.

To make a request, write to contact@thingsdev.co. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the period applicable law allows.

Cookies

This site uses only what is necessary to serve and secure the pages. It does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

International visitors

Things LLC operates from the United States, and information submitted through this site is processed there. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your jurisdiction.

Children's privacy

This site is directed to businesses and professional users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes or the law requires. The effective date above reflects the current version.
